haPpy mAy!
I'm back and beginning to get into the swing of things again :)
My mother picked this beautiful rose for me, fresh from her garden.
It's her first bloom of the season :)
The color is gorgeous and the scent is heavenly!

Flowers are beginning to bloom all around the house.

One of the perks of renting or buying an older house is the surprise of plants blooming in the spring. We're renting this house and I'm excited by all the green that's growing up. I can tell the owners of this house love plants and trees. There's even a garden patch! The local farmers here are just now getting the soil ready for planting. I can see the freshly tilled earth against the spring grass as I drive down the bendy roads.

It will feel good to dig in the dirt and to have little eLijAh's "help".

I'm itching to start some new projects; there's a few earring designs I want to try and there's always halloween and christmas to work on!
I'm hoping to have a few things done for Sunday; still working on making that my regular update day. I'll let you know :)
Hope you are well. It feels really good to post today.

Hi Suz. I'm so, so sorry to hear about your stepfather. Life can be so tough sometimes. I don't know what he was dealing with, but your are right, at least now he's at peace.
Hope you are holding up okay. You'll be in my thoughts.

Deasr Suz,

So sorry about your step Dad. Somehow I missed the post. You have had quite a month and I am so glad you are back to creating and enjoying the spring weather. Oh, and that rose is beautiful. I am so sorry for your mother too. Will hold you and your family in my prayers.:) hugs, Amy
