Merry Christmas! I hope you were captivated by its magic and that a good time was had by all. I must admit that I enjoy Christmas Eve so much more than Christmas Day. I can't really explain it, it's just a feeling of awe and anticipation. Childlike wonder.
It is getting late but all is calm in the house. Elijah's first Christmas was a tough one. The activity level at my sister's house sent him over the edge. He cried and cried and cried and just when we thought he was finished, he cried some more. There is nothing more heart wrenching then to not be able to console your baby, but we all survived.
You might have noticed that I changed some colors and added a new banner. I still can't get the darn thing to fit inside the border - any suggestions? I felt like it was time to move past Christmas and to get ready for the New Year. I'm really excited about 2008. I love moving into a new year. It's like fresh fallen snow that hasn't been touched. It's full of possibilities, a new adventure.
There are a few fun projects I'm working on and some I'll begin tonight. Wishing you sweet dreams.
